WELSH FOLK DANCE - DAWNSIO GWERIN CYMRU

          DAWNSWYR TIPYN O BOPETH

   2008.

Dancing in 2008 has already started with a very enjoyable evening at Gŵyl Hen Galan arranged by Twrch Trwyth. Thanks to Jan & Dewi, members of the group and all who supported them for an excellent evening of dancing.

Bobbie organised another MASQUED BALL, this time at Rhosygilwen Mansion. A very suitable venue for this splendid event and everyone remarking that they had thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Thanks to John and Val Mosedale for the photographs below - and for the beautiful plate, illustrating the dance  Sir Roger de Coverley, which they presented to Bobbie on the evening in appreciation "for making opportunities to dance, rather than opportunities to compete."

Trefnodd Bobbie'r DDAWNS FASGIAU arall, y tro hwn ym Mhlasdy Rhosygilwen. Lleoliad arbennig o addas at  y digwyddiad ysblenydd hwn a phawb eto'n mynegi iddynt fwynhau'r noson yn fawr iawn.

Diolch i John a Val Mosedale am y lluniau isod - ac am y plat hardd, yn dynodi Dawns Syr Roger de Coverley, a gyflwynasant i Bobbie ar y noson mewn gwerthfawrogiad o'i gwaith    "yn llunio cyfleoedd i ddawnsio yn hytrach na chyfleodd i gystadlu."

After Easter many of us went over to Donegal to enjoy the Pan Celtic Festival. A good time was had by all, dancing ................ and sampling the local delicacies.
